DIGITAL MAPPING AND DOCUMENTING SPIRITUAL INSTITUTIONS AND PRACTICES IN MUMBAI WHICH HAVE EMERGED IN THE LAST TWENTY FIVE YEARS.THIS DATA WILL BE PRESENTED ON THE WEB IN THE FORM OF INTERACTIVE MAPS WITH PHOTOS, VIDEO INTERVIEWS AND OTHER DATA.

We are making an exhaustive map of new spiritual centers and institutions in Mumbai.

DOCUMENTING SPIRITUAL PRACTICES

Systematic Documentation of Practices of each of the institutions surveyed.
5 Minute Video interviews of the people who go to the new spiritual places, will be geo-tagged onto the maps. Questions asked will pertain to their reasons for going and their beliefs.

PRELIMINARY RESEARCH

We have done 100 interviews at 10 new spiritual places across Mumbai. We got important information that is helping us in upcoming research.
